I'm getting smaller and smaller over the years - that's why this stool is indispensable for me in the kitchen. I can just "kick" it from place to place or room to room! And it's very strong and stable - when you step on it, the wheels retract and you have a solid base that won't roll away as you work. Highly recommended.

I bought this to keep my pantry organized! I couldn't reach the top shelf at all and the second bottom shelf was too high for me to reach the back. This stand really helped. I can see and reach both shelves which means I always have supplies and don't have enough of what I need. It has casters to move it, but when you step on it, it lowers enough so the stool doesn't roll. It also helps in closets.

The edges of the plastic are rough and sharp for your hands when you need to pick it up and push it around. The one I just got scratches the floor because it doesn't roll straight and is frustrating because it rolls in circles when you push it with your foot. A wheel feels tight and binds. Not as I recall them working in the past. What good are wheels if you have to lift it to move it? Too expensive for cheap quality.

This stool is of inferior quality to the same Rubbermaid stool I bought many years ago. She. I have to file down the plastic to smooth it before it cuts my hand. The rest works fine. The edge of my old Rubbermaid stool has a smooth finish. I had to replace it because the wheel broke after years of use.
