The Rugged Ridge tire deflator is designed to be used with a tire gauge such as Accutire or similar. If you stick it in a valve stem and expect it to "do" something other than deflate your tire, you'll be disappointed. As others have pointed out these are not the type of deflators that stop at a set point, they simply screw onto the valve stem and push onto the valve to inflate to allow air to flee. I didn't buy mine from Revain but it's the same product. At first I was very happy with them. I timed it and it took my tires about 4 minutes to depressurize to 10psi.
