Air down faster than your friends!

Make ventilation quick and easy! Place them on the valves about 30 seconds apart and remove them after a few minutes. Best of all, you can use the tire pressure gauge while they're still on so you know the exact time to take off.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Updates

Fast and awesome.

The Rugged Ridge tire deflator is designed to be used with a tire gauge such as Accutire or similar. If you stick it in a valve stem and expect it to "do" something other than deflate your tire, you'll be disappointed. If you use it to inflate 37 inch tires from 40lbs ---> 15lbs for 4x4 traffic then this tool is awesome. It's just not an "autopilot" tool. efficient and very comfortable. He's doing exactly what he's supposed to do. Let go of those suckers.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Zero

Ideal! just have a pressure gauge with you.

You no longer have to be the last one to meander down the path with your keys while everyone is waiting for you :-) It's very easy to use. Simply remove the caps from the valves (if any) and screw them on. After screwing it starts to drain immediately. Install all four tires, then go back to the first tire and start monitoring the pressure with the pressure gauge. When you get the pressure you want (eg 18psi in my case) unscrew it and move on to the next tire, measure, unscrew it, then the next

  • An absolute legend

Big help but note

As others have pointed out these are not the type of deflators that stop at a set point, they simply screw onto the valve stem and push onto the valve to inflate to allow air to flee. I think they're great for the price. I did not purchase this brand from Durable Ridge, but I did get an identical product from my local 4x4 shop and have used them many times. When you're done, they just screw into each other as shown in the picture. I personally use two of these most of the time, and when I know…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Worked great for several years, about a dozen times after that.

I didn't buy mine from Revain but it's the same product. At first I was very happy with them. I timed it and it took my tires about 4 minutes to depressurize to 10psi. I didn't want to spend $40 a tire on devices that deflate to a predetermined psi pressure. (Some assholes gave it 1 star for not turning itself off automatically.) I only void 1-2 times a year. My problem started 2 weeks ago. I keep them screwed together and in my tool box. I've probably used them about a dozen times and couldn't

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Nothing
