Removable Warming Rack - This wire rack attaches to the top of the toaster, allowing for easy warming of buns, pastries, and rolls. Remove for normal toasting. Lift & Look - Monitor the progress of toasting without canceling the heating cycle. Three Functions - The Bagel function toasts the cut side and warms the bottom side of bagels. The Frozen setting adjusts toasting to achieve results identical to fresh bread. Cancel ends toasting. Variable Browning Control - Select the level of doneness you prefer, from 1 (light) to 6 (dark).

Does everything but toast

This toaster comes with great features including a 3-year limited warranty; Most toasters sold by Revain only have a one-year warranty. I like the wide opening and bagel decor as I toast a lot of bagels. The high-lift function works well for toasting small items. I haven't used a bun warmer and don't see how it will evenly heat a bun. I would prefer a conventional oven or toaster to warm something up. I like being able to pick up an item to check its progress without breaking the toast cycleโ€ฆ

Makes great bagels and perfect toast

Make sure items are dry before use. It's in the manual, but I have a feeling some people don't. Scroll at maximum speed about 4 or 5 times with nothing in the toaster. The elements must burn their production residues. They make a great toast. Both sides are the same. Crispy on the outside and not dry on the inside. They make great buns. Be sure to turn them inside out as indicated on the top of the toaster. They make excellent english muffins. You have to set it to the maximum but it worksโ€ฆ

The design of this retro toaster might lead you to believe that it is superior to other toasters.

One of the most expensive toasters, I don't like the heat setting on the unit as it's quite inaccurate and doesn't adjust when you change the thickness of the bread or put baguettes in the unit. The additional heating grid for warming up croissants above the slots of the toaster is mostly non-functional and does not warm up croissants at all. I have to resort to the knob on the side of the toaster for fine adjustment of most of my toasts. The problem is that the knob to adjust the heat jumpsโ€ฆ

It's a miracle! Toasts bread evenly on BOTH sides!

This is a miracle! It's toast! That's the best there is to say about a toaster and believe me, not all toasters are up to the task. I've only had this toaster one day, but I've tried different types and sizes of bread. Everything was browned evenly on both sides. This toaster has other notable features. I love that I can raise a toast to take a quick look and continue toasting without having to restart the toasting cycle. I like a heating pad. I haven't used it yet, but I see possibilities inโ€ฆ
