Nice little set in knife sets

I ordered this for my stepdaughter. She is very small and the knives seemed the perfect size for her. She has a small studio apartment in New York, so the small footprint of the house is perfect for her too. The knives seem to be of good quality, but unfortunately not my "Henkel 4 stars", of which I have 14 pieces. But for a newbie in the kitchen. they should be fine.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • No form required

Elegant cutlery and knife accessories Knife

I wanted to give this device 5 stars, apart from the not very stable block. Looks classy and the knives are top notch. Thanks to their ergonomic design, they fit perfectly in the hand. They're lighter than they look. Stability issue aside, it's nice to have such a very small footprint on the counter. I used to have problems with logs if I forgot to keep the knives completely dry when storing them. As long as they are dry there are no problems.

Pros
  • I'm crossing my thumbs
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Knife set space saver

This is an amazing set of quality knives in one compact package. The set includes five of the most commonly used knives: a 6" chef's knife, a 5.5" serrated utility knife, a 5" santoku and a 3.5" peeler. They are full of taang. they are comfortable to hold and impress with their performance. Be sure to hand wash and dry. Block sustainable bamboo. It's slim and attractive and fits almost anywhere. It is very thin and quite durable. I had no trouble tipping it over, but it can easily be knocked…

The knives are well balanced and feel comfortable. Wobbles wooden blocks

The balance is fantastic, much better than the handles we received as a wedding gift. These are full shank knives, meaning the metal of the blade extends to the end of the knife handle. These are very sharp. One of them is a serrated knife, for example for slicing tomatoes or bread. One is a paring knife, another is a utility knife, and a third is a chef's knife. The length of the chef's knife is shorter than what we are used to. They feel great in hand. Now we want more Japanese Sabatier…

  • Absolutely amazing!

Wow, they get boring quickly.

I love the style of this set. This is a neat looking set in a masculine style. It has these neat curves at the base - wood and metal are very masculine. Knives are all you need in the kitchen; Vegetables, bread, large and small chef's knife. But the holy moth makes them mute quickly! I usually use a knife for most kitchen chores - usually a small paring knife. I used these for a few months - then one day I cut a pepper and it just wouldn't cut through the skin. It was shocking; My knives have…

Good knife set: Knife block sets

The knife set is made of high quality forged Japanese steel with sharp precision blades. Comes with a thin bamboo block with a stainless steel base. The knives slide easily and are stored in the block. The device has a sleek, compact look and doesn't take up much space in the kitchen. You get 4 knives, one of which is a 3.5" paring knife ideal for preparing small fruits and vegetables, a 5.5" utility knife with a serrated hard surface, and a 6" chef's knife for chefs - suitable for almost any…

Pros
  • So far, so good
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

This is a wide range of knife styles in a very attractive knife block. This is a particularly good choice for small or cramped kitchens as it takes up little space compared to a traditional knife block. However, once the knives are inserted, the block can tip over if the knives, especially the heaviest ones, are not pulled straight out of the sheath. Of course, the easy-tilting knife block isn't the best, which is a shame because otherwise the block has a cool, clean, modern look. Knives are…
