What I liked the most is that I can hose wash them and they still look brand new. They are very comfortable and seem to be holding up really well. This is my fourth pair of Salomon shoes. I was very happy with the first three. Unfortunately, with this style, the heel falls through every time you put it on. I don't know if this is a design flaw or just a defect in this pair, but it's very annoying.

I spent $200 to make sure my feet are dry every time. I have worn them several times in the morning to walk the dog in the meadow and always came with wet shock absorbers. 100% dissatisfied with my purchase.

Bought for my son and intended for a long multi-day hike (25 days). The shoes offer excellent support. It does the job that no other expensive fashion or athletic shoe can do. It uses ankle supports for extra stability and this shoe goes to the ankle eliminating the need for a high shank for extra support. Be sure to purchase hiking socks that offer extra padding under the toes and ball of the foot to prevent chafing.
