I have a standard size Xolo (Mexican Hairless) ie 60lbs and I had a hard time finding a collar that didn't irritate his skin especially when pulled. Other Xolo owners in the Facebook group have told me about such collars. I like that it's simple and durable, it doesn't scratch like my old one, there was no irritation and when it gets too dirty I just toss it in the washing machine along with its clothes and unsent detergent. and it comes out nice and clean.

This is a really good collar but when you put it on a dog for the first time (especially small breeds that don't have a thick neck) it doesn't rest a circle or more or less "round shape. It bends at the buckle because the collar material is very thick. We tried stretching and twisting the material before putting it on the dog, but the shape didn't really change. It just takes time to soften and penetrate. I'll report later but I'm pretty sure this will be a durable collar and therefore a good…

This is the second collar I have purchased from Salt Dog. The collars fit quite well, especially as my dogs fight with each other all the time. However, this last purchase was a disappointment as I ordered a turquoise color which appeared much darker in the promotional photo than what I received. I have four dogs, the smallest is 14 pounds, the largest is 78 pounds. Each of them has received a Salt Dog collar over the years. I am always looking for affordable quality. These collars have been doing their job for a couple of years now and the only time I've had to replace one was when my younger terrier grabbed one (which the dog didn't have at the time) and chewed through the latch.
