Surprised by the difference!

I had a new Monoprice RG-8 high performance cable from my booster to my new Directv Genie receiver and the picture on the HD channels was good but a bit grainy. I ordered this cable and installed it this morning. the graininess is gone, the picture is getting sharper and sharper! Video signals, like circuitry, are only as good as the weakest link. This cable is expensive, but you won't believe the difference in picture quality. And it's pretty much a one-time deal, so spend your money and get…

VERY HIGH QUALITY. for accessories and consumables

If you want high quality I don't see anything better than this cable. Replacing the RG-59 coax with this RG-6 coax made a world of difference. Using this for an indoor TV antenna gives us a much better signal strength on the TIVO signal strength meter. There haven't been any storms yet, but this cable should also reduce or eliminate electromagnetic interference. It also helps stop signal loss. This cable meets today's need for cables that can support higher bandwidths and larger data transfers.

Well built. Very well shielded.

100ft TRI-Shield 14AWG 75ohm RG11 in Orange bought. The cable marked "Amphenol TFC-T10 ShieldX" is widely used in telecommunications. The F-connectors are a rugged, weather-resistant design with 18 AWG connectors for easy installation. The cable itself is in a good #14 sheath, the braid is a dense transverse braid impregnated with anti-corrosion gel. Foil and insulator are standard, and the conductor is 14 AWG steel core generously clad in copper. The composition works great with CIMPLE RG11 F…

Using SOLID COPPER WIRE coaxial cable IS MUCH BETTER

I've read reviews that solid copper wire coaxial cable should be used for antennas compared to the traditional coaxial cable which is available almost everywhere and is just copper plated cable. So, for just a few dollars, I bought it. It says this is what directv and satellite companies use. While my reception is still not perfect (location in the valley, interference from the nearby municipal airport, and major construction for other channels coming out of the Dallas area), it's MUCH better…

Poor quality control is a waste of time and money!

I bought two pieces for my RV dish antenna, stored 6 hours travel. I thought I would buy the best cable available to replace the old thin RG twisted pair cable that was too long to run to a dome antenna and difficult to store. The longer one (40ft) never allowed the Dish receiver to fully connect, even running straight from the receiver through the door to my antenna. The short length (25 feet) worked well, as did my old 100 foot cord that I was trying to replace. After a dozen attempts with…

DO NOT recommend this cable

I ordered this cable to replace 2 cables I spliced together to run 20 feet in my home office. I figured 1 full cable would provide a strong signal to connect my Xfinity cable modem. I installed it and immediately the signal came and went, since people in the house were having connection problems I quickly switched back to the old cable and the problems were solved. designed and intended for laying in the duct. You didn't use the cable for its proper use and it will cause problems" - literally…
