The best shoes for trail running!

US size 12.5. Built-in tongue is the most comfortable design. It doesn't shift to one side like any other shoe. I don't know why this design didn't become popular. The grip is amazing. The outsole wore out a bit quickly but I run difficult/rocky trails so I'm sure that's the reason. The toe box gives my foot enough room to roll over on landing. Can't say enough good things about these shoes. Looks like they're leaking them, which really sucks because from what I've seen there's nothing like it.

Pros
  • I love this shoe! True to size and handles well on trails. I have no complaints.
Cons
  • Unattractive design

Snow and ice don't stand a chance!

I love these shoes! Ideal for trail running and snow. I don't do much trail running, but I do run a lot on snow and ice. This show is great on ice because of the screws. and on the snow it behaves well because of the profile. It does the job!

Pros
  • Low profile for good stability
Cons
  • Weak and thin lacing system.

Strange squeaking/clicking at first, but otherwise perfect

Aside from the clicking that comes out of my right shoe for the first 15 miles, these are the best trail running shoes I've ever owned. Over 100 miles later, they're still going strong. I recommend 99/100.

Pros
  • Great !!!
Cons
  • Heavy and bulky

Wider toe: my rating

I bought these shoes because I was suffering from pinky toe pain which I attributed to running in shoes with a narrow toe box. I've already done a few runs and still felt comfortable and pain free. Very happy with the purchase. Now I have a pair of Peregrine 10s too, but they are different. narrow toe.

Pros
  • Shoe lacing system ensures a secure hold
Cons
  • May cause chafing and irritation

The new crazy river is so much better than this one

i love saukoni They have without a doubt the best trail running shoes on the market! So these are good shoes. The only problem is that Saucony has many of the best trail running shoes on the market. The new Mad River is way better than these and cheaper! The new ones have a wider toe box, more padding and are lighter! They have a very tight toe and are 1/2 size too small. Recommend the new Mad River and one of the Peregrine Falcon models compared to them.

Pros
  • Shoes specially designed for trail running.
Cons
  • Built from cheap materials

great shoes in my opinion

Fits perfectly. The shoes are very comfortable. It feels like I'm walking on a cushion. I need it because I'm always on my feet for my work.

Pros
  • Looks great!
Cons
  • I paid full price and they sent me used shoes. Dissatisfied!

Great shoes for trail running and more

I have to give this shoe 5 stars. They are very comfortable, well balanced, support the arch of the foot, respond very well to different surfaces and are light. I will buy more pairs when they wear out.

Pros
  • Good fit and support
Cons
  • Expensive

Solid trainers. in my opinion

The price was good to try. They're great even at the regular price. I'm a heavier runner and needed something for the upcoming rain and slippery trails. The shoe was heavy but the fit was nice with a pleated tongue. I think it added weight but it was worth it for avoiding the need for alligators.

Pros
  • Quedo a la Medida.
Cons
  • Insufficient torsional resistance

A lot of good things happen for it, but for a long time

I really liked a lot of things about this shoe - the wide toe box, the fairly low outsole and the protective outsole. When I first put them on I thought they might be perfect. Unfortunately, they are noticeably long and the wide toe box is actually too roomy. This left too much material in the forefoot, especially on the outside of the foot, and my foot slipped a bit into the shoe.

Pros
  • I will buy again!
Cons
  • Effortlessly picks up dirt and debris

Lightweight but disappointing durability

These shoes fit great, they were comfortable and light, but they definitely didn't last long. I walked the Grand Canyon in these shoes and mostly prepared for it. All in all they fell apart after about 400 miles. Considering the typical lifespan of a shoe and after all the bumps I've been through, I was still disappointed in the durability of the shoe's materials. I'm leaving Saucony.

Pros
  • A little more than usual.
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Great shoe company in my opinion

Saucony is a great shoe company. You missed it again. The wear and tear was terrible. Broken in many ways. Good News Mad River 2 tr All improvements have been made. Skip it though them

Pros
  • Feel great on your feet
Cons
  • Non-bearing arches

Make the runs you love even better.

I weigh 235 pounds and run 5 miles every day on fire roads and trails. These shoes are so comfortable. Make sure you're laced tight so you don't twist your ankles. The shoe box is useful. Lasts about 300 rough miles. Rocks and concrete release grip faster.

Pros
  • The shoes received positive feedback from buyers.
Cons
  • Painful wearing over a long period of time

Didn't last long - disappointed.

Great shoes for trail running. Super comfortable and great aggressive treads. Two stars because there was a big hole in the heel. I've only had them for nine months. At the end of my run today I started to feel pain and thought I had something in my sock, but eventually I saw a coin-sized red area on the back of the heel. I track my mileage via Garmin Connect and have only done about 130 miles with it. I was upset, I thought they would last much longer.

Pros
  • Amazing quality and comfort
Cons
  • Uncomfortable for long-distance runs.

Very handy in my review

I started running during the pandemic. I needed new shoes. I ordered and returned several pairs of shoes. I keep it. They are comfortable and look good.

Pros
  • The shoes are great
Cons
  • Limited color options

These sneakers are great.

I love the running shoes, very comfortable and great for running. I love the color, I invested a lot in this purchase. This sneaker brand will be my brand for life.

Pros
  • Shoes come in a variety of sizes, including half sizes.
Cons
  • boring design

Another great couple!

Replacement for my 4 year old couple. Saucony shoes always fit perfectly and this is no exception. The outsole is quite aggressive and should provide good traction on loose, even wet, terrain. The sole material is quite soft so I'm curious to see how long they will hold their shape. The laces are quite long and I will try the second lace option. The graphics are amazing and I'm going to wear them with a white and gray Revain Basic camo shirt.

Pros
  • I love traction and support
Cons
  • Poor stability on rocky terrain.

Great shoes! - my new rating

Completely new in box. I read several reviews claiming they were sent used shoes. Not to sound corny, but they are amazing. I've been wearing Saucony shoes for over 10 years. I look forward to putting a few miles on them.

Pros
  • I didn't have any other brand of shoes. Sokoni is the best.
Cons
  • Negatively affects running form.

Excellent quality - my new review

BIG SHOES feels a bit snug and I'm a woman who wears men's shoes. the instep is limited by the sock-like construction of the shoe. But it's still cool

Pros
  • It's too early to talk about durability, but otherwise everything is fine.
Cons
  • Poor traction and stability

The best hiking shoes I've ever used

I just took these shoes on a 13 mile hike in the mountains and they were very comfortable on the trail because they were so light, airy and had great cushioning. LOVE IT!

Pros
  • It wasn't on the Saucony website. I had to look for another provider.
Cons
  • Right shoe small

Revainrating 4 out of 5

As long as it's good for me

I only got the shoes a week ago so I've only run in them a couple of times. I like the space in the toe box as this is a problem with many running/trailing shoes. So there is a big plus. The laces can be replaced with ones that stay tied, but that's a minor issue. So far so good, I like the shoes.

Pros
  • The blue/dark blue color scheme is visually appealing.
Cons
  • subject to wear and tear
