This tool can save you a lot of pain.

I have an old 1970's Cadillac with an aftermarket aluminum radiator and the drain cock in it is in the perfect spot that's hard to reach and it has a brake line right in front of it, restricted access pliers. This tool saved my ass and I would recommend any shade tree mechanic to have it in their toolbox.

Save time, finesse and money

On some GM vehicles the radiator drain plug is located in the lower corner of the radiator above the radiator bracket. Therefore, it is very difficult to get hold of them. Also, the protruding part of the fork is a cross, not just a flat piece. Because they are not flat and difficult to reach, they are difficult to open with pliers. This tool has made my life much easier. It goes perfectly with this plug and most likely all other draincocks.

After weeks of sitting in my tool box drawer, all of which are lined and stored in the attached garage, I noticed this adapter before going to drain my wife's radiator because of the amount of corrosion after one it was a short time. tenure. It still works, but I'm not sure how it will look in a few…
