I have an old 1970's Cadillac with an aftermarket aluminum radiator and the drain cock in it is in the perfect spot that's hard to reach and it has a brake line right in front of it, restricted access pliers. This tool saved my ass and I would recommend any shade tree mechanic to have it in their toolbox.

On some GM vehicles the radiator drain plug is located in the lower corner of the radiator above the radiator bracket. Therefore, it is very difficult to get hold of them.
