Read the reviews, needed to get this in addition to a new valve stem that has broken. My mechanic was able to install it directly onto the stock sensor with a new stem. Perfection!

Bought because I have aluminum rims that are badly corroded. Of course there was also corrosion under the valves of the volume. The dealer wanted to charge me $40 for a package but it would have been $120! There were far fewer of them and they worked on my 06 Commander. Thank you Revan

Very little information is available on these little devils. Having some of these kits on hand can save you a lot of money, but you need to know when and how to use them to turn off your tire pressure gauge. The blocks in each bus will eventually stop working and this can restore many of them.

Dealer charged $180 to replace defective stem assembly and said parts were not available. I found them at Revain and had 3 tires repaired for less than $100 including bars, bar hardware (from Revain), tire stripping, parts replacement, tire remounting and tire balancing at my local national tire chain.

This is a very good product and should be used as a preventive measure when changing tyres. All I can say is that I am grateful to the manufacturer for offering a simple and inexpensive solution instead of requiring a full replacement (including TPMs) as some dealers have asked me to do. agree to replace a part on a tire without charging the arm and leg (this has been my experience at metro DC-area chain tire shops).
