Very important. for jumpers, chargers and portable power supplies

Works perfectly right out of the box. It runs my sleep apnea device (Res Med AirSense 10) perfectly on deep cycle battery. It had an electric coffee maker, but hardly any. It turned off but never "failed". It was also used to charge mobile phones via a USB port. Very convenient.

Pros
  • 1 year trial version
Cons
  • Upgrades

Great inverter! good for jumpers, chargers, and portable power supplies

I use it for construction work to charge wireless batteries while commuting. Charge them up quickly. My colleague had one and recommended this brand. The picture does not show that there are 2 forks. The inverter comes with fuses and two extra fuses just in case. When I use it, it doesn't sweat. The cigarette lighter wires are heavy duty. Take this one!

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Slightly torn

100% recommended product.

There is no better auto electrical manufacturer. I've been a technician for many years and have never seen one of their chargers break. Also for those over 30. Schumacher makes absolutely excellent products. I sold my audio amplifier and replaced it with this inverter. I connected it to the battery cables and was able to run the blow dryer on low (hoping to be able to install window tint without an extension cord).

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Does not work even if the battery is slightly discharged

Does not work if the battery voltage is just under 13V. I have a load of 300 watts on it and at a voltage of 12.5V the red light flashes and the fan pumps. However, the alarm has not worked yet. I let it run the van cooler on the street to be powered by the truck's generator. There is no compressor in the fridge on wheels, so there are no power surges. It only works with constant voltage. The generator runs fine, but as soon as I stop I have to switch it to propane before the RV battery dies…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Working speed

My favorite budget inverter

I like this inverter. I've used many others, these are better than most. It's quiet, the fan only runs when it's needed. I measured the efficiency and it's good. I particularly like the fuses that are accessible from the outside and that there are even spare fuses and a set of cables included. Many other inverters have fuses soldered to the circuit board inside. So if you plug them in the wrong way around and blow the fuses you'll have to throw away the inverter unless you're really good at…

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Upgradeable
