They seem sharp and cut hair well, but holding them is another story. I think they are made for little fingers. I have long fingers, but I'm not fat, so my fingers aren't "chubby". They're pretty tight for me, so if you have big hands or are a man I wouldn't recommend them. Made new in Italy.

If like me you're new to cutting your own hair these are a great place to start! I like that these scissors are heavy but very easy to hold. At first I thought I'd have a hard time keeping these villains or taking matters into my own hands. However, with these scissors I found it very easy to hold and trim the ends without much effort. They are very sharp and don't take much! Overall these are great scissors, I can see they will last, they are very affordable and I would highly recommend them…

This fills in the product description. They're sharp, easy to work with (I use them on my beard) and they never stop cutting and pulling on my beard like some of the other scissors we've made. But the case I received does not have the Italian flag on it and nowhere says where they were made. I suspect they are not made in Italy as many other reviewers have pointed out. But for the price, 5 stars in my humble opinion.

The scissors didn't look like the picture but I've tried them and so far "seem" they're fine. The packaging said the product came from Germany or something, but not Italy.

These scissors feel very good in the hand and are easy to use. The carry case they come with is great as you have a smaller zipped pocket inside the larger one which makes it easier to secure.
