🛵 3mm Clear Plastic Acrylic Windshield for MMG Scooter with Mounting Hardware Review

This windshield did not fit my Wolf scooter. Assembling the first set of brackets was easy, but I soon realized it was too small to fit the instructions. In the end I sent the item back and received a full refund. I was impressed with the strength of the windshield itself. I just wish it could fit between the mirror mounts.

I like it. It works. Easy installation but no real instructions. I mean, there's a sheet of paper with steps and a few stock photos, but you must be at least a little mechanical. I would give it 5 stars except it's not as tall as I thought it would be from the photos on the web. But it's a big improvement over nothing!

Main windshield works great. There were no instructions, although it was pretty clear how it was attached. However, the pieces connecting the windshield to the mirrors were of different sizes and looked very unattractive. One was too small, the other too big. I broke the vise but did so and had to paint the connections. It works great but needs some technical help before installing the regular Josephine.

We received the windscreen very quickly but I was unable to fit the screws into the holes on the windscreen as instructed. I contacted Powersports and they asked me to take a picture of the problem. Imagine my surprise when they sent me a fully assembled windshield for my scooter - WOW! I was so happy that I could easily mount the windshield on my scooter and didn't have bugs on my face while riding in the evenings. I recommend Powersports for your scooter needs. Great product, no installation information. I took photos of myself installing it as it kept kicking my video out. I will tell you that when you are installing the strap on the windshield, the hardest part was putting the screw head in place. I knew when I bought it that it would make the ride warmer, but it's a lot warmer than I thought it would be. This is a MUST for winter drivers. I put it on my 2017 Tao Tao Powermax and it fits perfectly, with some adjustments. The windshield itself was installed in minutes. You need a wrench to install this thing. Very well packaged with good protection. The quality of the hardware and what you get seems to be lacking. I will be purchasing more rubber washers to attach the bottom mounting nuts to ensure a tight fit. I used the washers that came with the kit to fit between the piece of plastic that attaches the metal brace to the windshield.
