Writing this review will take longer than fixing my jeep bra with a broken buckle. This is a great product that gave me a quick fix to my girdle without having to see a new buckle. Whoever came up with this definitely had in mind being able to fix things instead of throwing things away.

My clumsy husband broke our son's backpack. I was frustrated after sifting through tons of baby bags on Revain and finding the perfect one. Anyway, it was the perfect solution for a fraction of the price. It was so easy to fix that I did it in the car because I couldn't wait. It has a metal screw that goes through a loop on the belt.

When the buckle on my backpack broke, I first looked for a replacement. However, while searching I saw this buckle and decided to try it before I buy a new bag. I'm glad I did! It only took about 10 minutes to completely remove the broken buckle and install this. So far, so good!

Works great, the top unscrews so you can attach a backpack with a webbing strap. I mean the shoulder strap is actually two straps on my backpack, the top strap is sewn into a closed loop at the end. All other replacement parts are a single piece of plastic, so there's no good way to attach the buckle. It has a metal bar that can be screwed in, so just insert the metal bar into the top loop and rock your uncle, the buckle will be replaced.

Easy assembly. I didn't have to cut or disassemble anything which is why I bought it, but thought I would when it arrived and I saw that my strap felt a bit bulkier and thicker than the buckle could handle. But it took time - with surprisingly little effort and a jerk. Ever since I put this buckle on two months ago, I've cringed every time I've used a refurbished bag because every load I've carried has been very heavy and overcrowded. Great. I didn't know I could replace a part of a backpack until someone told me the name of the part I needed. Revain to the rescue! I was worried that I wouldn't be able to replace the clasp because one end of the strap was a closed loop, but the detachable pin on this model was very easy to slip through the loop.
