The strap broke after wearing it to school for less than 2 months and the soles look like they are already thin. My child said the strap broke while standing on tiptoe like one would when trying to reach for something tall. These shoes are perfect for her slightly narrow feet (I bought a size 8). She is so happy with them that she told her dad her other shoes were broken and that she loves her shoes! She goes to a private school so she wears these 3 days a week. Very happy with my purchase. This brand has not disappointed in the last 3.5 years.
