Sena Spider ST1 SPIDER Motorcycle Mesh Communication System 2022 | Single Pack | Black | USA Review

I bought these for my wife and I to use while driving and they work great. The only complaint I had is that they could be a bit more user friendly.

Joining a mesh group is easy. The battery life is excellent. The Spider ST1 connects easily to my phone and motorbike and works great. I wish it was backwards compatible with older Bluetooth versions, but I knew it wasn't going to be the case when I bought it, so it won't affect my rating. The only problem I had was remembering some shortcut keys for less used functions.

It takes about 5 minutes to install I'm sure it could have been quicker) After the Install update the firmware or whatever and you're good to go. It stays securely attached to the helmet but is fairly easy to remove for charging. The sound quality is better than I expected and the overall quality of the product is amazing, you really can tell how well built it is and the quality of the materials used. The app is also pretty easy to use.

Amazon adds that it has been upgraded with HD speakers, but the sound quality sounds like mono, but over both ears, and accurate like the AM radio, it crackles a lot, like the speakers are about to explode. The device itself was easy to put on the helmet and run the cables, updating the firmware was a little cumbersome using the sena Bluetooth device manager on the PC. I mainly use my device to listen to music while cycling. The sound is good, the volume is good, the dynamic range is good. Installation in a full-face helmet was easy, and the noise is loud enough at 70mph on Canyon sweepers riding a half-faired bike (helmet in the wind). Bring the speakers closer to your ears. Bought this for my wife as some of our friends had Sena headsets. Previously we used Cardo. Compared to the Cardo, this device is significantly larger, with a smaller battery and about the same volume. After 2 months of ownership (just past the Revain return period) the right speaker flew. I updated everything, reset everything, checked the cables and nothing helped. I have 2 ST1 Sena models to communicate with my wife. It works well after several long rides, but there are some downsides. First the positive.
