I received my Serta about 3 weeks ago and as soon as I opened it there was a horrible musty smell, I thought that would go away with time, but the horrible one I still can't get rid of the musty smell, if you're thinking of buying, think twice about throwing away too much

My foam mattress was white with gold spots. It doesn't even look like I'm going to order. Does this foam mattress cost more than what I am ordering? I think I bought a cheaper mattress. Not a happy camper at all. I've been waiting for this back pad. I still have to sleep my granddaughter in bed until someone fixes this.

Ships very compressed but expands perfectly to meet product specifications. EXTREMELY smelly (like oil) and takes weeks and weeks to essentially dissipate. Also, it is very hot to sleep. Probably great for the winter months. It is also very heavy and difficult to move alone. If a thinner <2-3" version would fit, this might be a better option.

Mattress topper was uncomfortable many nights. It really made my back pain worse. I gave him a few months to see if he got better, but he didn't. I left it in another room. I left town for a couple of weeks. When I got home the topper left a wet spot on the floor. The smell was terrible. It took forever to air the room. In the end I put the topper on the street. So basically it was the waistline of the money. I would not recommend it to family or friends.

What I was thinking when I bought a pesticide mattress topper! That thing stinks! The instructions say to air 24 - 48 hours. Still smells just as bad as it did when I first removed the Suran packaging. I'll never feel safe sleeping on that thing even if it stops smelling like poison. I have a Serta iComfort memory bed that has lost support. I turned it over, but then it seemed to me that I was sinking onto the other side I had slept on before. I was going to buy a new bed, the Serta iComfort Hybrid, but decided to try this one first. I got this 3" Carbon Dream because it seemed more durable than other toppers and it worked!
