By far the best fillet sharpener I have ever used for fillet knives. I've had many types but it's very good value for money. Just make sure to use it easily as I read in other people's reviews. I think it's very important. Also, the angle is for filleting knives only, which many sharpeners don't have, which could be why they don't work properly. After seeing the results of this sharpener, my friend quickly ignored his electric sharpener, which he used to be very reluctant to use.

Love this thing! Throw away the knife steel, it's garbage. Once your knife's bevels are ground at an angle to the carbides, it only takes three or four strokes to mince ripe tomatoes and slice them into very thin slices with ease. Obviously not for major reshaping or removing large dents. And it ends up with a little ripple on the bevel, but as long as you change the speed at which you pull the sharpener it's negligible.
