These clips are built to last. They pivot so that when used as a flag, the flag moves freely and does not get tangled when dropped.

I use carabiners to hold two flags on our flag. Pole is here in Florida. The old ones were made of nylon or plastic and became brittle after exposure to the sun. I love stainless steel and hope they don't rust.

I am very satisfied with these clamps. Great design and weight. The construction seems good. I particularly like the rotating function. I use them on the end of a dog leash so I can quickly strap my pups to the gate while I clean the horse stables.

These - plural because they were only advertised that way - replace a decades-old smaller version with a faulty spring used to attach keys to a belt loop. They are a bit big but so is the spring and if the spring ever fails I already have 3 spares.

I used these clips to fly our 5ft x 8ft American flag on our community flagpole. They fit perfectly and are strong enough to fly our heavy flag. These clips are well made and made of thick metal. They are easy to install and look great on our flag. The price was very reasonable and the delivery was very fast. I recommend this product.

These carabiners are stronger than I thought they would be. Our flags are 3 x 5 feet, but these hooks were VERY difficult to use with one or two flags. I only keep them because they are durable, made of stainless steel so they don't rust and spin. I can use them on our ranch. I would buy them again, but not because of the flag. I replaced them with more appropriate FLAG hooks.

I also make and sell custom paracord dog leashes. I wanted to try a different type of closure than the normal zipper. These clasps are well made and reasonably priced; for stainless steel --- which is also a plus as it helps prevent corrosion and extends the life and functionality of the entire product. They are easy to install and just as easy to remove. I am a fan and will most likely buy again.

I use animal leashes and they work great for this, the surface is smooth, the spring seems good and the swivel looks like big dogs, goats etc need hard work (most likely never) cause a crash. For marine use I would use things like a rescue gate, a quick temporary skiff rope, or many other things you can use. I would caution against using a true snap shackle for only critical applications such as anchor gear or a spinnaker sheet lock as these are normal snaps. I think I'll get more and if you…
