Solids in fuel/water separators

Solid product. It remains to purchase fuel line fittings. Bought these from a local Ace store, standard brass hardware.

Easy to install and works great.

I needed extra ethanol protection after buying a new engine. The factory recommends a 10 micron filter, so I went with that. It was easy to install and I had no problems for two months. I have a 40hp 4 stroke engine and would recommend this filter for your boat.

Pros
  • Type of Fit: Universal Fit
Cons
  • All Right

They are excellent for inboard/outboard or outboard installations only.

I've had several of these in the past. They are ideal for installing inboard and outboard motors or simply as outboards. It's not a plastic mounting base, it's solid aluminum and will last a couple of years before you need to replace it. The main reason is corrosion when installing on dissimilar metals. I installed it on fiberglass and have never had any problems even after 10 years.

Pros
  • Prevents damage to sensitive inboard, stern and outboard fuel injection systems Additional Info:
