Sift Away SA MC6 Pet Litter Review

Love it! I'm still on probation, I think this is the answer we've been waiting for, me and my kitty are very happy. I'm actually ordering another one to put under this one in case one of the strainer pans needs cleaning.

The product is not easy to use. The construction is poor, 2 out of 3 pots were cracked on arrival. If the trays were marked to indicate which way, reassembly would go smoothly after the top tray was emptied. You end up wasting a lot of junk trying to put it back together. Don't waste money.

I have a bowl that is hidden and looks like a palm pot. I only needed a strainer for quick cleaning and this was the cheapest option. I don't use it as a litter box so can't comment on how good it is for that. Since I use it as a colander I basically got 3 colanders for $12! The plastic is not flimsy at all! I only use Purina Multi cat litter for one cat. Works great with a sieve. Nothing fell through except clean sheets. I would recommend using it as a colander because it's a great quality…

It doesn't look like the ad/pictures at all. Cat urine pools, but sticks to the sides of the bowls and, worse, the "grids" at the bottom of the bowls. It's always a mess. If the cat peed on the litter in the center of the tray, it would work as advertised. Unfortunately, my cat always chooses a corner or side, leaving a terrible mess. As soon as the garbage contained in it is used up, it goes into the garbage. The only reason it has 1 star is because it treats cat poop. Terrible waste of money!

Not a bad idea, but the litter was sticking together on the bottom and sides so you had to either "bang" it against the bin or use a dustpan to clear it all to get. Maybe it's just the litter I use (haven't tried any other brand of litter yet) but I'm still giving this tray three stars because while I can't use it for its intended purpose, it's still a litter. After purchasing and then reading the reviews, I realized that I made a mistake purchasing this product. According to other customers it was torn and the corner of 2 trays was completely missing. Too bad I didn't have my glasses on so I didn't notice the damage until I went through the rubbish for the first time. Yes, wet litter clogs cracks and is not easy to clean.
