Firstly when it is less gold and much shorter. The lightbulb is pictured above the lampshade. No matter which bulb I tried, it still lights up.

This product is lightweight and durable. Easy to assemble and comes with lightbulb! However, in the picture it looks like bright yellow gold. No, that is not so. It's a muted antique gold color with hints of wood. Not what I expected.

This item looks light gold in the photo but the lamp I received is actually a dull brownish green color and the lampshade almost outshines the lamp. I usually really like the products I order from Revain, but this particular product isn't that great.

I replaced a much larger and brighter bulb with this one and was mad at myself for not checking the wattage before ordering. However, for my purposes, a 40 watt bulb is fine. Delivery by UPS in 2 days; A big plus as so many orders arrive late. The base isn't as shiny as Revain but still looks good, so 4 stars overall.

Pretty great product for the price you pay, looks regal with gold trim on the ceramic (I recognize the ceramic part). I just ordered the 2nd lamp. Another great thing about this product is that the light bulb is included. The only thing that could be improved is that the bulb peeks out from under the lampshade. I bought these on sale and thought I had a good deal! I even bought two of them. Spring. When they arrived and I assembled them I was dismayed to find that the lampshade was very poorly designed - the bulb was literally sticking out of the lampshade as the lamp socket was on top of the lampshade. I don't know why this lamp has less bad reviews, it's so ugly! The photos look like real gold. maybe metal? But beautiful, real gold. Do not be fooled! It's some kind of wood/resin/cheap plastic PAINTED with "gold" color. but the gold is a dark brown bronze and the brushstrokes look so cheap.
