My 4 year old daughter usually wears a size 5. Even the 3rd size in these shorts fell off her. She really likes them so I'm pinning them now but I'll definitely order a size or two smaller. The pink is really garish and not our style, but the other two are cute enough and cheap enough that they're worth keeping for those with two.
