. I have been painting in oils for over 18 years and I love the hardness of this brush

I have been painting in oils for over 18 years and I love the hardness of this brush. I use it to draw thin lines around the edge, or to rub into foundations to blend later, or to outline the edges. I mainly do portraits and figures with landscape backgrounds. I love the detail I get with this brush stroke. When I want to blend and texture with additional colors/highlights I use a round that is more flexible/flexible.
