I used this to fix a wall wire that had one of its connectors broken. Very easy to use, the contacts are very good. The kit included a screwdriver to loosen and tighten the clamps. That works great. I hooked it up to a good terminal first and sent a continuity signal to the bare wires so I could match them. After adjusting, I tightened each wire on the corresponding pin. I bought this to do exactly what it was designed for, which is to fix a broken end on an HDMI cable. I would say that everything worked as expected. My only complaint was that the plastic cover that needs to snap around the fully connected end is too small to fit on the cable bundle and is made out of fairly cheap plastic. Latest Review: Firstly, please note that I am an experienced builder and jack of all trades with experience of repairing many things including electronics and wiring. My broken cable end goes through walls so I can't easily replace it. A few months ago before I first wrote this review I painstakingly drew another cable of the same brand to get a diagram of how to install this end, installed it that way and I still don't have a video of that Cable. I just took the advice to reseat this connector
