TERRIBLE quality. Those Skywalker nuts that are being sold now are pure junk. I ordered some a few months ago and they were good quality. It's totally useless. Not worth the metal. Nut threads are not properly threaded, are not properly threaded due to threads with large holes. The nuts are also thin and incorrectly punched. Don't buy this.

These F-81 nuts and washers fit the bill, no problem with the two packs ordered. We mount extended machined plastic F-81 female/female adapters to the plate and these nuts are installed with sufficient torque. So far so good, no failures. The delivery is fast, the parts were there within a few days. When a product is as simple as a nut and washer I can't comment on how well it works because the expectation is that it just works. Two more kits should be arriving shortly to continue assembly.

This is normal. Double with this available quantity or pair with thicker shims. I've seen and run hundreds of these over the years, on 1/4" input/output jacks, coax connections, etc. I've never seen them, but I imagine the cost would be twenty times what the NASA stress test ratings for sheer tolerance in the cold vacuum of space, surpassing resistance to micrometeors and solar radiation Nuts and washers I've seen Doing this simple job for little money, and 100's of it, is the value here.
