The mattress arrived in the afternoon of 10/08/16. We took the box into the bedroom and unpacked it. The mattress quickly expanded to what is shown in photos #1 and #2. It was about 10" thick and didn't lay flat with a few spots on the edge that didn't fully expand, photo #3. This is a long term review. We bought this mattress in 2014 and it was great for the first year, but then it became firmer or less supportive. In any case, it felt like we were lying on a sleeping bag on the floor. Then we added the topper, then the lining, and although it worked for a while, the mattress eventually became rock hard again. I am shocked at the difference between what was advertised and what I received. What I expected: an 8" comfortable, high quality 8" memory foam mattress with a 20 year warranty, made in the USA. What I got: A less than 7-inch memory foam mattress that's very durable and only has a 10-year warranty, according to the documentation that came with it.
