Sorry but I can't agree with the mostly good reviews on this grease gun. Mine has two HUGE flaws: 1 - The lid screw threads are so thin it just doesn't hold the lid. I know it sounds weird but I can screw it in until about 1/4" of the threads are showing and then it won't let me move any further and it will come loose. Like many people, I've found that you have to disassemble the nozzle to remove it from the grease fitting and yes it's a little annoying but once you understand that's the case it doesn't matter. This is the best mini grease gun I have ever had. I reassembled the gun and attached it so that the flexible hose came out at the top. I filled up a new tube of lube and started pumping, expecting to have to deal with an airlock. I pumped a few times and felt the gun pump out the lube at about the fifth pump. Purchased to inject Groco Ulube into my boat hull through valves as recommended by the valve manufacturer.
