This table can be used as a work, writing or dining table. While the tabletop height offers plenty of legroom at the bottom, the lack of frame cross braces allows unrestricted freedom of movement. Although the table weighs forty pounds, it glides fairly easily on hard surfaces as its legs are slightly rounded. However, lifting can be a bit tedious for a person of average strength.

I gave four stars because I didn't like the USPS shipping. In my area, the post office doesn't try to deliver anything that the postman can't deliver. I had to pick it up myself. The box was damaged because the plastic straps cut through the box when lifting the slightly heavy box. That tirade aside, it was a gift and my brother loved it. He said it was the perfect little table. It was easy to assemble. He was impressed with the durability and quality! Thanks very much!

Like: It's just the right size for the small space I need it for in my distance learning room. Shipping was first class, all possible edges protected and covered with very thick cardboard and foam. They have a 100% replacement policy if an item is damaged. This table is solid and the assembly is one of the easiest I've ever done (assuming I just assembled an Ikea Micke table for my other child's room a week ago). The box of table parts arrived quickly, was carefully packaged to minimize the chance of damage in transit and included clear assembly instructions. We'll be using it in front of a window with a great view and wish the wiring harness didn't get in the way of all that stuff. Corner broken off. I didn't notice this at first as it was originally a back corner. However, I had to turn the table over so that the monitor stand could be mounted on the rail. The distance to the rails at the front and rear is different. In any case, this is not a problem as I appreciate the strength, thickness and ease of assembly. Excellent table. Got this to replace a slightly smaller cage table. The drawer didn't allow me to comfortably mount a wider flat screen on it and didn't match the speakers. You can definitely place a monitor, keyboard, mouse and some small stereo speakers on this desk. Cable management is also a real business.
