Size conversion was difficult. If they weren't the size you ordered they would send you the next size up they had which might be two sizes bigger. The quality was as expected for canvas jazz boots.

I can tell where my feet are, feel the ground and still have some protection for my feet. I just use them around the house, lighter than running shoes, safer than flip flops. Wash just enough to complete the burglary. Holds up great. I love these shoes!

For the perfect size it's 7/71/2 and they fit perfectly. They are not intended for hard everyday dancing, but if you need them for a costume or for example a musical or a play, they are very important! My child is very picky about his dance shoes and they survived their 3 week summer stage. I recommend to musical theater kids who need a show.

Based on other reviews, I chose size 6, which is my usual women's size. When the package arrived it was marked "39", which is European size. My EU size is 36 so I can assume the size listed was US for men. When I clicked on my order the size listed was 6/39 so at first I blamed myself for being too hasty but then went back to the listing and there was no European size listed anywhere. They were pretty cheap so I just keep them and tie them tighter and/or try to shrink them in the wash instead…
