Rubber handle falls off when hot and metal gets dangerously hot. The rubber handle fell off on first use and burned my wife. Very bad design. Shame as it (looks) like a quality product but it's actually more of a burn hazard.

If all I cared about was hot water this kettle would be great. Unfortunately after 6-8 uses in 4 weeks it completely got worse! Judging by the pictures, it looks "burned" from the outside. Who wants something that ugly (yet potentially that cool looking) on the stovetop? Not me! I want to return it but I don't have the box so I'll probably throw it away. waste of money!

The kettle arrived on time and is just as good as the photos. I unpacked it, read the washing instructions (that is, boil a pot of water, rinse, then use the kettle). I washed it first with dish soap and a kitchen sponge. My kitchen sponge is now black despite repeated rinsing. I washed it 2 more times with soap and a clean soft cloth. Update Rating. The company did the right thing the third time. The first kettle arrived damaged and was replaced (free of charge) with a second kettle which also had not only a dent but also a disconnected handle and bolts but no nuts. I complained a second time and decided it was over. To my surprise I received another of several emails from the company informing me that they had supplied a third kettle. It arrived today and this time in good condition. I haven't used it yet, but I plan to. I…
