PERFECT RADIATOR for engine cooling and air conditioning

I bought this for my granddaughter's 1997 Chevy Blazer, the first one that came came with 2 radiator hoses, which I also ordered, big mistakes, the tube mixed up some fins. I requested a return and they sent it out the same day before I sent the damaged one in, what great service. The radiator is very beautiful and fits perfectly, I am very impressed with the quality. My grandson's truck is about to be born and I am going to buy this particular brand.

Pros
  • To allow room for thermal expansion where needed kingpins are included OE
Cons
  • Not sure

Good product.: Engine Cooling and Air Conditioning

Excellent. Replaced a cracked heatsink on a 2003 S10 V6. It took me a while as a beginner, but I worked slowly. I estimated around 10 hours, but I have a workshop and I break the work up into several days. I've never done this type of work before. It wasn't that bad though and I'd say I saved myself about $500. I also removed my oil cooler lines as they were leaking and this is a synthetic fuel light truck. So that also added time. I was glad the product included screw caps on the oil cooler…

Pros
  • To reduce stress on manifolds and prevent distortion from thermal expansion, side members are stress cut
Cons
  • Requires bushing

So far so good after installing this on my 1998 Chevy Blazer a few months ago. I watched a video on You Tube on how to install one of these and everything went fine except the radiator line came loose and the attachment wasn't tight enough. I would recommend pressing in the fittings prior to installing this heatsink and double checking after installation that your cooler lines are engaged (I had a smaller plastic fitting that came loose). If you want to make your life even easier, use a MotoRad

Pros
  • Increased pipe wall thickness for increased strength and durability
Cons
  • Mostly fine, but...
