Used to replace 2002 Ranger 3.0

Very happy with this part. Our Ranger's original radiator blew up the week before. I found the part number for a direct replacement and found the part number on Amazon. Delivered by next weekend for wiring. The complexity of the exchange depends heavily on your vehicle. But ours entered quite easily. READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY!

I have a fleet of 2nd generation Ford Explorers and sometimes buy parts for them on Amazon as replacements in case a part fails. I ordered two of these heatsinks, have used Spectra heatsinks in the past and they were very good quality and great value for money. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure

So how did this "adventure" begin? Well, my truck's owner's manual says "don't use orange extended life coolant" and on top of that I think I've used combination coolants at some point. Basically my radiator/coolant system was clogged with hardcore AND I froze to death at 4am on the commute to work.
