Tachos should be ashamed! TERRIBLE product!

I wish I could give them zero! This is the SECOND pair of Speedos I've bought for my son in less than a year. These chests are made for water. These shorts have been worn in the pool 3 days a week for less than 3 months and they're beat up! My son likes water polo, they undress and get washed. They have stretched to the knees and are completely worn out. Do not buy this product!

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Excellent fit and quality

Speedometer of the expected quality. Bought for my 8 year old son for swimming lessons. He's held up all season and still looks great. He is very slim and could wear 5/6 in waist. The laces keep them from falling off, but he kept them loose and never had a problem. No pilling on the suit from sitting on concrete. The legs were the perfect length (he's average height for his age) and not too tight on muscular legs.

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Very expensive

Good quality, runs a little small

My son is 8 years old, 51" tall, 24kg, 22" waist (so definitely skinny but still in the middle percentile for his age). I ordered size 6 and they fit perfectly - snug but not too tight. He loves her. There is a size chart on the Speedo website that I used to determine. If you are unsure I would pay close attention and order by your waist measurement as that is where the suit is narrowest.

Pros
  • Easy fit
Cons
  • Small items

Removes paint and lint in just 3 swims!

I won't buy this color anymore! The blue was beautiful upon arrival and first use. After that, the blue color has faded terribly and looks aged. The back is also covered in fluff (e.g. after a year or two of wearing). Terrible, this color fades even after 2 uses (note, only 45 minutes of swimming). And indoors, not even in the sun! Buyer Warning! You can see in my photo that the tip line area is the original blue color. The difference is just amazing.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Frequency

Great option for younger/small swimmers

My kid loves them. After about 10 wears they were already starting to get quite fluffy with minimal time spent at the pool's edge (1st photo shows this). Sizing is great for little swimmers - size 4 fits smaller than boys size 22 (which is the smallest size I've seen for boys sweaters). The 2nd photo is a size 4 (blue sharks) compared to a size 22 (navy shorts) jammer. Despite the fluffy factor, I'm still considering buying another pair for my little one because he loves them so much and they…

Exactly what I wanted, no complaints.

This is exactly what I wanted when looking for jammer trunks for my boys. Knee length, fully opaque, functional drawstring waist, nice soft mesh lining in crotch area to keep things in place and stay slim. lol The only thing I would change is if the lining could be sewn in a bit more. It tends to shrink or pull forward when my son puts on his suit or adjusts it for swimming and play during the day. It's a little awkward trying to get your hand inside your suit to put it where it belongs. I…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Only available in black

Good for competitive swimming but swims fluently but swims fluently.

I bought this for my son in mid July to use for an intense swim workout. He alternated between blue and black 4 times a week for 45 minutes. I bought them again so here are the pictures to compare the brand new shorts and the wear and tear on these shorts after 2 months. As you can clearly see the blues have completely faded and both have a lot of pilling so are really disappointed with the durability. Especially with a trusted brand like Speedo. After each bath they were rinsed and always hung

Pros
  • GOLS certified

  • No automatic
