Description of Spotty 100 Count Puppy Pads

No more messy "accidents" with the Spotty Puppy Pads from Royal Pet that are great for house-training new puppies or for older incontinent dogs. Each pad has a 3-layer lock system that retains liquid and locks in stinky odors. A leak-proof backing helps catch liquid and avoids drippy pads, plus adhesive peel and sticky tabs keep pads in place. More absorbent and convenient than newspaper, perfect for puppies and small to medium sized dogs. 100 pads | Dimensions: 22" x 22".

The adhesive tape cannot be removed from the floor

I bought this product because it has an adhesive tape but I did not expect such an adhesive. It's so sticky it took us half an hour with Goo Gone to get it off the floor. A tile and a laminate. Now we have to use the rest of the box without the tape, which defeats the whole purpose of buying this brand.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Holds great but adhesive breaks when removing pad and sticks to floor

These work great except when removed the adhesive always pulls away from the pad and stays on the floor. I can tear it off with little effort if it doesn't stick to the bottom for too long. The only species this has been an issue with, but other brands don't hold up as well as this one to stay in place.

Ruin the floors! in dogs

DO NOT BUY. They leave horrible glue marks on all hard surfaces (our laminate, hardwood and tile). We used them to line our puppy play cage. See attached photos!. We had to pay to BET the sticky spots and still OPEN them. Also, the pads are very thin and my puppies urinate right through them. Only buy if you enjoy spending the Sabbath on your knees scrubbing floors.

  • Excellent overall performance

Waste of money -

These are the worst puppy mats I have ever used. I bought them because people said they were hard to take off. These pads don't stick to anything where I put them and in the puppy room it's solid wood. Then when I put it on one of the puppies peed on it and it spilled onto the next pad so it definitely won't soak in right away. Doesn't hold up very well either. I did a cup test with one of these and it had trouble holding an 8 ounce measuring cup.

Pros
  • Dope Training Mats 🔥
Cons
  • Fits

Fits but doesn't work for a week

We bought it for use at Spotty Training Place, which we really like, by the way. This is the only pad on the market that fits the training ground from start to finish and guarantees no mess on the training ground floor. However, they are not as absorbent as some of the higher quality pads and don't last a week, at least on our 8 month old Havanese. Two or three days max and then the pup won't use it I suspect because of the smell. Once we replace him, he will return to the religious use of the…

Pros
  • Hands-free mode
Cons
  • I don't like it, everything is fine
