🔋 Sram 11.7618.005.000 eTAP Battery Block: Enhanced Performance and Reliability Review

I've been using this battery on my bike for a while now, and I must say, it's been great. Based on my observations, the battery block is lightweight, making it easy to carry around. It's also very reliable and has a long battery life, allowing me to ride for longer distances without the fear of it running out. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey, but considering the quality and performance, it's definitely worth the investment.

This is a product that fills needs I didn't even know I had. While the plastic part is a bit pricey, it fits nicely into the battery contact plates on the back of the eTap switches. Ideally, it protects these areas when washing or transporting the bike. While I haven't heard of any problem with it, I think it protects the tabs that hold the batteries in place from breaking or becoming detached, so it's a valuable help.

. It covers and protects the battery attachment point on the switches and when I'm not using it there I leave it installed in the charger. What else. It's red, but if you're not color blind you can see it. It's plastic, but hopefully, unlike electronic contacts, that won't surprise you.
