Genuine SRAM Bleed Kit

Bought to fit a new hose to Code RSC tandem brakes. Easy to use and high quality. Worked great after watching a SRAM YouTube video on how to bleed the brakes (a guide that was only slightly different). The product also looks authentic. It costs a little more to have a SRAM bleed kit that I know will work with my brakes.

Pros
  • Bike Tools and Maintenance
Cons
  • Don't really like it is ok

Contains everything you need to bleed Formula T1 brakes

Great little kit The kit contains everything you need to bleed Formula T1 brakes (except rubber gloves and a degreaser). If you look on YouTube there are some well made videos showing you how to properly bleed your brakes. I've never done this before and it worked great the first time. The brakes feel as good as the day I bought the bike.

Pros
  • Cycling
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Works well. Has ALMOST everything you need

The kit itself is quite reliable and works as it should. However, if you're installing new brakes and not just upgrading your current set: I watched a few YouTube videos to get you started. Videos (including one from Sram) instruct you to use a DOT compatible lube to install/seal the barb into the brake hose on the lever. This kit does NOT include this grease and you will need it when installing a barb. and olive oil (Stealthamajig). The lubricant is only offered in a pack at $25/1 ounce. Iโ€ฆ
