I can't believe how much I love this knife

I have several 8 inch Wustof knives. Very good. But I'm going for this one. I was skeptical. But strong and very long! I'm 6ft 1m tall with decent hands. Maybe too big for a small person. It took a little getting used to, but I like it!

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Problems

Great knife made in China

This is a very good knife don't get me wrong it is deadly sharp and I think it will be for a long time. The handle is a bit square but fits my large hands well. I'm a little annoyed that it's made in China. German this and that is on the list but when it arrives I see this sticker on the box.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Razor sharp: cutlery and knife accessories

This knife is very sharp straight out of the box. It comes with excellent instructions. It has made my time in the kitchen so much more enjoyable and made my life so much easier. I love to cook and have had enough of several different types and brands of knives and this is my favorite so far. Keep it clean and dry and it will treat you well.

Perfect Knife - Chef's Knife

I've been looking for the perfect sharp knife for everyday slicing and slicing and finally found it. It is perfect in shape (safe), wide in design and heavier than a normal knife (suitable for cutting onions and vegetables faster), with a comfortable grip and very sharp. A little pricey but reasonable. I recommend people to buy this perfect knife.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Great inexpensive knife! fits cutlery and knife accessories

Bought a 6 inch blade which is enough for most of my needs. The knife feels solid and well balanced. It's instantly sharp and ready to use. The first dishes I used it on were chicken, beef, and fresh white onions. The blade went through everyone smoothly and effortlessly. One thing that struck me was that although the brand name and presentation implied German manufacture, the box clearly said "Made in China". This does not detract from the value and quality of this knife. But I believe in…

Looks like a quality knife

I've been using this knife for most of my cooking for about a week now. I am by no means a knife expert. I usually have a knife that I use for almost everything. I decided to try this one too and replace/backup the one I've always used. I really like this knife. It's very sharp, feels nice to the touch, and easy to clean, although I've become more careful about using or cleaning it now because of the sharpness. I don't know how to describe it, but one thing I really liked about the cleaning is…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Too dull

Surprisingly good knife!

I have a very large collection of kitchen knives from Global, Shun, Sabatier (classic old carbon steel blades, not modern) and many high quality Japanese blades (Masumoto, JCK and some custom parts). In short, I'm a bit of a collector. I bought this knife when I was moving home and my collection was on the way. I wanted something cheap and since I didn't have a 10" chef's knife I bought this. All in all it was a surprisingly good purchase. 1. The design is very good. The knife is well built…

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • No insurance
