The rose ring is exquisite better than the picture, just like the sterling silver small rings. I would definitely take the rose ring as an engagement/wedding ring because it doesn't have to be or have a diamond to be beautiful. The ring is very beautiful. However, there are two issues that may or may not be the deciding factor for you. At first it seems that the ring is too big. Not sure what size it is as I don't have a gauge (mandolin) for it, but I ordered a size 8 to fit my daughter and it fits a little too loosely on my own finger (size 9). its ring-shaped part (and not the part with a rose ornament) is quite thin and angular.
