Cornucopia 2oz Clear Glass Jars - Airtight Cosmetic Jars for Creams, Balms & Aromatherapy (12 Pack) Review

Great for use in the home or kitchen or for taking groceries with you when travelling. The glass is of very good quality, the lid is firmly screwed on. In the photo I used it to make my own eye cream. (1 tablespoon shea butter melted in a double boiler and mixed with 1 tablespoon avocado oil and 1 teaspoon vitamin E oil - try it, it really works and is easy on the eyes!)

When I first ordered these glasses (24 in total) I was very satisfied. The quality is normal, there were no problems installing the covers, the packaging is intact (no breaks). The second time I ordered them (24 total), the order arrived with only 21 caps. Unfortunately, I didn't realize the lack until I had filled all the jars with balm, so it's too late to go back. I have contacted the seller and will update my review once I receive a response.

I will be ordering these again as they work great! Durable and holds 2 ounces of product. I make my own balms. When I crack the ointments, less comes out of the bottle, but that's normal. I weigh the bottle on a digital scale before adding the product to get a fairly accurate weight for the contents. I don't use product tins as I'm pretty sure most are aluminum which I avoid when packaging. I love using glass!

Well that was a disappointment! I wanted to use them specifically for baby food and wanted them to be freezer safe too. I will say they are packaged very nicely and the jars are good, but the lids have a glued foam liner - that bothered me. for my baby - i took off the foam and tried to remove the adhesive with coconut oil and then i will wash again (picture above) but the lid is scratched on the inside so i just threw away all the lids because of a possible chemical leak - also cracked two of…

These are my new spice jars and they are great! Quality: As others have said, the glass is high quality, clear and thick. The lid is a high quality glossy black plastic (doesn't seem flimsy) with one of those wax paper liners keeping it sealed. It seals fairly tightly, so if you want to use it for cosmetics you should be safe with thicker substances like waxes or creams, but traveling with a real liquid here would be a gamble. Perfect quality jars. They are near perfect. No problem. I use some to store extra pills and even in a warm room the jars stay cool. This is very important, especially with gelatin capsules, which can melt when heated. I suspect these glasses stay so cold because of the nice thick glass. I really like these sizes.
