Good, but not for alcohol markers.

Works well with watercolor. The page may warp a little if you only apply a few coats, but taping the edges will prevent this. Contrary to my dreams, this map is not suitable for alcohol markers, as they leak and ruin the inside of the map. I wish I could find marker paper or a set of shading cards! Otherwise great for creating personalized greeting cards!

Pros
  • Parchment surface
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

NOT for watercolor

I usually buy Strathmore watercolor cards. But based on the reviews I decided to give it a try. It might be fine for other mediums, but I wouldn't recommend it for watercolor. There's no tooth to hold the color and the colors just don't look right (this is the first time I've tried a piece I've painted before so I know how it should turn out). Guilty. I know parchment is a smooth surface but I've never painted on it. Ah, lesson learned.

Pros
  • Acid Free
Cons
  • Fine

great lilcards

I really liked it! I misunderstood the description so I thought I had received the wrong product but after re-reading the description I realized the fault was mine and I gave them a try even if they weren't exactly that what I wanted, well they are better than I wanted! I've used all kinds of ink, chalk, crayon, your name, I've used it and they've held up great! Will order again and recommend! I've also used all kinds of paper glue, even some questionable glue, paint, stickers, etc! They…

Pros
  • mixed media cards have the qualities of watercolor paper but have a parchment surface for drawing, so they perform really well on both wet and dry media.
Cons
  • boring packaging
