Update: Customer service was excellent. They replaced the cables with ones that are actually 18 inches long. They work great. These can be good cables but I need them to be at least 18 inches long. According to the description it is 19 inches. They arrived today and are only 13 inches long from tip to tip. Really 12 inch cable, minus the grommet that goes into the device.

I have a Chevy Colorado and I use a Samsung S9 cup holder. The cord is the perfect length and color. Charging and USB connection work well. Communication at both ends of the cable is excellent. Very cozy. I've had a lot of cables that don't work well with programs like Android Auto. This cable works perfectly. No complaints. I would recommend it to a friend.
