This curling iron is AMAZING, love the long barrel for my long thick hair. My only complaint is that some of the gold finish on the barrel peels off my hair from time to time. It seems to keep my hair healthy and shiny!

I use it about 2 times a week to give my long thick hair the effect of big random waves. Well, it's getting hot as a mfer! I can use it to straighten and curl my insanely thick and coarse hair at the same time. The downside is the clunky grip that takes some getting used to. First I accidentally turned it off because you keep it in the same place as the on/off and heat controls. Also, the center of gravity of this thing is gone, you just have to be very careful when and where you place it. It's

The heat and long run was great for my long thick hair. However, the coating peeled off after about a year. Overall not bad considering the price.

I bought this curling iron on a whim and I'm glad I did. I love it. It heats up quickly, adjusts the temperature easily and glides through my hair. An elongated stick is ideal for creating a beachy wave.
