HEAVY DUTY Peace of Mind

These things are bulletproof. Installed them on my 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ 4x4 with low gear Dana 30. It was difficult to get the originals off. I used a tool to remove the ball joints and knocked them out because they were almost rusty. The Synergy ball joints fit perfectly and made the old jeep really tight. Well, if there is an oiler below. I'll be back in a while to see how they wear. They are a bit pricey but worth it for the peace of mind.

Pros
  • 12 Month Unlimited Warranty
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

Concerned about longevity. The ball joint is bent.

Upper driver's side installed and the top of the ball joints seem to curve inwards. this can't last long. I would have thought the metal would be strong enough to withstand the installation but hopefully it will work and last as long as it should. I bought these instead of Alloy because of the brand and recognition, but now I'm worried I may have made a mistake. Update, the nut didn't fit the ball joint bolt. Now it just spins and doesn't drag anymore. The floor went great.

Pros
  • Tear and wear resistant silicone polyurethane ball joint boot
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Not worth the money

All 4 ball joints installed in May. The jeep has not even 3,000 miles and all four ball joints are now smooth. They paid good money for what I thought was the best. Not at all satisfied with the product! Wait and see if the synergy supports your product. UPDATE - Synergy sent me a replacement and they were maybe 1000 miles on my jeep and they failed again! Ball joints have never failed so quickly (even cheap ones) Replace all HD/D tie rod ends and my gearbox has play and is leaking! Synergy…

Pros
  • Includes (2) upper and (2) lower
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
