TAMIYA Sanding Sponge Sheet 1000: Achieve Fine and Smooth Finishes Efficiently Review

When I tried this product from the Abrasive & Finishing Products category, I was expecting a high-quality industrial and scientific-grade sanding sponge. Unfortunately, the reality was disappointing. The sponge seemed to break down easily and did not hold up to multiple uses. The grit seemed to be lower than 1000, as I had to work harder to achieve the desired finish. The only pro is that it is inexpensive, but the cons outweigh the cost savings.

Can be cut and wrapped around whatever you are sanding. The 3000 grit is excellent for sanding transparent parts and preparing for polishing.

Excellent kit with all the necessary abrasives. The sponges adapt to the surface as needed and achieve excellent results. A great addition to your modeling toolkit.
