Description of 🪵 8-Inch Acacia Wood Serving & Cutting Board with Juice Groove for Home Use - TB

PERFECT FOR PREPPING: handy bar board is great for slicing lemons and limes, chopping ingredients or serving snacks. JUICE GROOVE INCLUDED: unlike most bar boards, this board features a juice groove to catch excess juice and keep countertops clean. REVERSIBLE: flip the board over for a flat cutting surface with no juice groove. NATURALLY BEAUTIFUL: acacia wood looks wonderful on kitchen counters or when used as a serving board. EASY CARE: simply hand wash or wipe with a damp cloth; do not soak in water or wash in the dishwasher.

It will splinter and crack

Not only did the wood splinter into small pieces, but the board itself ripped after three hand washes. DO NOT BUY THIS. Absolute waste of time and money.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Recommend but buy coating spray!

This chopping board is perfect for what I bought for slicing lemons/limes/small veggies. I hate pulling out a giant cutting board just to cut a lime for a drink. The only thing I didn't like was that it didn't have good coverage.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Available for swap

Cracked Unusable Surface

Horror! Cracked unusable surface with warm soapy water (according to instructions) wash spoiled washcloth used for washing, fill with splinters, rub with bamboo oil (according to instructions - NO help! NO food surface. (I have several other wooden boards where I don't have this problem )

Pros
  • I Hold My Fists
Cons
  • Mystery

Great for slicing lemons and limes for drinks

I like that it's small and has grooves to catch the juice. With my other cutting board, I lost a lot of juice when I cut it into small pieces to mix. It also has a flat side for slicing tomatoes, apples or other fruits. Why didn't I measure?

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Low quality. It's not worth it.

not at all like the product photo. It came in two completely different wood colors, which would be perfectly fine if it was a quality board. However, the board is of very poor quality. It is completely covered with thin grains of wood protruding from the board, some of which are peeling off, making it very impractical to use for its intended purpose.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • almost never

Beautiful but not functional

These are wooden sheds. I've never seen anything like this. I opened the plastic wrap and washed the zorya and soft sponge before use. The sponge was covered with wood shavings. I dried it with a soft towel and there were wood chips on the towel. The cutting board now has a shaggy, unfinished appearance. I'm not sure if the problem is with how the board is cut, finished or the type of wood, but this is a complete failure of the cutting board. Absolutely beautiful grain and color but terrible…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Sad decor

Questionable food safety

It's terrible. Came back for the smell. It's so strong I can feel it from about 5 feet away. I washed them with soap and water thinking it might have something to do with the packaging but the smell stayed on my hands. It's probably chemistry, but it reminded me of pig manure. Whether it's a tree or a patch I don't know, but don't try to find out. It hasn't been sanded well either, so it's pretty rough. I suspect it's starting to crack due to drying out. Not sure if it was sealed, but again not

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Makes you angry

Don't know how to deal with it?

CONTEXT My husband and I have two wooden cutting boards, both specially for us (my brother made one and the other was engraved and given as a gift). They're both very powerful and a little awkward to use, especially if we're just slicing something small like a lemon. PROS - The wood is so beautiful! - She's got a juice groove! I like it. minuses. When it first came in the mail it was wrapped in plastic and had a paper/cardboard label inside. Both the plastic and cutting board and…
