The mount may not suit you, but wiring is easy.

Installed yourself - very easy. I was a mechanic, but a person with very little knowledge could handle it. The only problem is that no one persuasion could install the mounting bracket on my 2011 Honda Pilot. I even let the dealer try it and they didn't get it either. I had to tie the pipe to the bumper - not perfect! Otherwise, I would recommend this item, but the manufacturer needs to fix this mount quickly.

Sensors are known to fail. Mine was bad from the start

Very easy to install. When I installed it I couldn't get the light to work. I did a little research and came to the conclusion that the sensors (black box in the picture) are failing. I felt bad from the start. I connected exactly as instructed. I had to connect directly to the taillights. The instructions say it's impossible, but I didn't have time to send it back and wait for a new one.
