I love the look of this collar but it turned my pup's coat black! Unfortunately I missed the return window because I bought 2 collars at the same time because my puppy is growing very quickly. He's outgrown the first one in a month - put it on last week and noticed this morning his neck is grey-black - and soap/water won't wash it off. This is a well made collar. I bought an adult size so it's a bit big for my Great Pyrenees puppy but will grow into him soon. This is one of the best collars I have ever bought. I want a collar that can be tightened when needed, but still stays in place and comfortable when relaxed. This one is perfect and looks great on dogs despite being all metal. I'm comfortable with my two dogs, each weighing over 70 pounds, tied up in the backyard knowing the collars won't slip off their necks.
