Works best with USB network adapters

Good product in a small package. I used Tena on all my PCs to connect to my WiFi router. Never had any problems. It was sent in a nice box and arrived on time. The product exceeds expectations; Installed without any problems and immediately found my router.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Cheap crap! on network adapter

I bought this item about 6 weeks ago. Worked fine when I first got it. Then I noticed that the connection was getting worse and worse. That finally broke the thing. This time I got a Netgear USB adapter which is much better than Tenda for the same price.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • hard to say

Works great on my Raspberry PI

Good product and as far as we can tell does what it says on the tin. One thing we couldn't confirm is the 802.11n connectivity. 802.11g doesn't seem to be a problem. This could be the Raspberry PI configuration we are using. So don't worry if someone else doesn't validate your configuration.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Not bad

Cheap, highly reliable Wi-Fi access

I've used these for 10 Raspberry Pis that were having trouble connecting via the built-in wireless network. This increased the reliability of our connection better than I expected. Our Pis are located on an area of 10,000 m². Feet where there is only 1 access point (WatchGaurd AP300) and Tenda devices work fine.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

The adapter acts as a WLAN receiver. .

The adapter works as advertised as a wireless receiver. If you're using a Mac, don't expect to be able to use it as a range extender as the description says unless you're using OS version 10.9 or older. I contacted support and they said the drivers for OS 10.10 are still under development and they don't know when they will be released.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • There are nuances

Bought for Raspberry Pi

Bought for Raspberry Pi, had network connectivity issues on Raspbmc and other issues with other OSes on Raspberry Pi. I could certainly do it on the PI for But instead I took an Alfa AWUS036NHA from one of my desktops and used it for a Raspberry Pi, and have always used a Tenda W311M as my wireless adapter since for basic desktops. and it worked plug and play with no problems on Win7 and Linux Mint dual boot desktop. So if you need an adapter for your Raspberry Pi and are willing to get your…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Good but not great
