Tetra Whisper Bio-Bag Filter Cartridges Small - 6 Filters (3 Packs with 2 Filters per Pack) Review

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I know that tetra whisper assembled bio bag cartridges are trustworthy filters for all kinds of aquariums. They offer an excellent cleaning process by removing debris, fish waste, and bad odor, all while keeping the water crystal clear. I have noticed a significant difference in the aquarium's health, and my fish are noticeably happier.

These filters are terrible. Thank goodness I didn't put my beta in the tank after cleaning it. The filter threw dirt into a freshly cleaned tank. Tried two other filters that did the same thing. My poor fish is in a makeshift tank until I get to the pet store. I've been using this brand of filters for two years now with no problems. Bad quality or just a defect? I do not know.

It's not really the particular filter's fault, but this whole type of filter (cartridge type) is practically useless. You should replace them at least once a week as there is very little filter media and by doing so you are removing all of the good bacteria needed for a healthy aquarium. I wish I had known this before I started this, it would have saved me a lot of trouble. I would not recommend this item no matter how small your aquarium is.
